Datacenters & Central UPS
Modern datacenter infrastructure design requires a holistic approach combining high availability, energy efficiency and scalability. NetworkOverIT specializes in the study and implementation of modular datacenter architectures integrating power, cooling, racks, monitoring and physical security in a unified, controlled environment.

Frequently asked questions
What is a modular datacenter architecture?
A modular datacenter designs the infrastructure (racks, UPS, cooling, monitoring) in modules that can be expanded incrementally. It enables fast installation, predictable cost and easy expansion without downtime.
What is PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness)?
PUE is the ratio of total datacenter energy to IT equipment energy. PUE = 1.0 means 100% efficiency; typical datacenters run at 1.2-1.8. NetworkOverIT designs for low PUE through intelligent cooling and power monitoring.
Why a central UPS instead of individual UPS units?
A central UPS powers the whole server room with higher reliability, modular capacity expansion, easier maintenance (hot-swap batteries) and central monitoring. Individual UPS units do not protect everything at once and have a higher TCO.
